App Development

From an idea to the App Store

TitApeX designs and builds iOS and Android apps for brands and startups. Planning, UI/UX design, engineering, store submission and maintenance are handled by one team, so you never have to relay messages between a design studio and a development shop.

Who this is for

What we do

Every stage of taking an app from nothing to launch is done by our own team.

AI app development

The hard part of putting AI in an app is not connecting a model. It is deciding what the AI should handle, where the data stays, and what happens when there is too little to go on. We have solved these in our own shipped product.

How we work

  1. Step 1

    Discovery

We learn your business goals, users and budget, and agree on what version one must do.

  2. Step 2

    Specification and quote

We prepare the feature list, timeline and quote. Work starts only after both sides agree.

  3. Step 3

    Design

We plan the flows and interface, and confirm the experience with a clickable prototype.

  4. Step 4

    Development and testing

We deliver installable test builds in stages, so you can see progress at any time.

  5. Step 5

    Submission and launch

We prepare the store listing and privacy details, submit the app and handle review feedback.

  6. Step 6

    Maintenance

We monitor, fix and update the app, and plan next steps from real usage.

Our app on the App Store

We build apps for clients, and we also design, build and ship our own.

What Does This Mean?

From the iPhone share sheet, hand it a sentence you can't parse, an error message or a screenshot, and it returns an explanation in a fixed structure that you can keep questioning. It uses Apple's on-device model by default and masks sensitive data before anything leaves the device. No ads, no trackers and no account.

How pricing works

Every app differs in features, platforms and integrations, so we quote each project instead of publishing fixed prices. Tell us the following and you will get an accurate estimate sooner.

  • The problem the app solves and who will use it
  • Platforms needed: iOS, Android or both
  • Must-have features, and whether you need accounts, payments or AI

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to build an app?

It depends on scope. A focused first version usually takes a few months, and products with accounts, payments or AI take longer. Our quote includes a timeline by stage.

Should I build for iOS, Android or both?

It depends on where your users are. On a limited budget we usually suggest proving the product on one platform first. If you need both, we can evaluate cross-platform development.

I only have an idea and no specification. Can we start?

Yes. Discovery and specification are the first step of our process. We turn your idea into a feature list and a scope for version one.

Do you handle App Store submission?

Yes. Store copy and screenshots, privacy details, submission and replies to review feedback are all part of the process.

Can you add AI features to an app?

Yes. Our own app on the App Store is built around an on-device AI model. We recommend on-device or cloud models based on the feature, cost and privacy needs.

Does an app need maintenance after launch?

Yes. Operating systems update every year and third-party services change. We provide maintenance and version updates so the app keeps working.

Do you take international projects?

Yes. We take projects in Taiwan and abroad, including Dubai and Europe. We work in English or Chinese, and the whole process can be remote.

What is the difference between native and cross-platform development?

Native apps are written separately for iOS and Android and give the best experience and system integration. Cross-platform apps share one codebase and cost less. We recommend native when the product needs deep system features such as share extensions or on-device AI.

How long does app review take?

Apple and Google set the review time. Most reviews finish within a few days, and a rejected build must be fixed and resubmitted. Our timeline allows for review and revisions.

What should I check before outsourcing an app?

Check three things: whether the team has shipped apps of its own, whether the quote maps to a clear feature list, and who maintains the app after launch. Projects go wrong when these are unclear.
